I had the privilege of being the pilot resident for c:3initative's residency program at Camp Colton, Oregon.
With the goal of learning the mystical ways of welding and metal working, I collaborated with sculptor Neal Fegan. Over the course of two weeks, Neal helped bring "Conceptual America" into 3-dimensions. This sculpture (unfinished) belongs to a new and ongoing project of the same name.

When does a population reach a point of pivotal change? When does a group go from being an element of a community to being a leading voice in its future? These are questions examined in Neo-Latino’s Critical Mass, an exhibition taking place at the Monmouth museum from September 16th-November 6th. 2016 being a pivotal year for the Latino voice, especially with this year's’ monumental election, the works of art presented will delve into the importance of a collective but diverse visual dialogue around the cultural and socio-political Latino experience. Critical Mass will feature artists with roots in or ties to Argentina, Colombia, Cuba, the Dominican Republic, Ecuador, Mexico, Panama, Peru, Puerto Rico, Portugal, and Spain.
